Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 194 is a week away and a lot of the attention has been on the Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor tiff. It may be wise to consider that there are other matches for the evening too like the one involving Chris Weidman and Luke Rockhold.

This match is no sleeper and is one that is equally exciting. At stake is Weidman's UFC middleweight title and Rockhold surely wants to get his hand on it. But will he have enough to fend off a wrestling-conscious Weidman?

As far as Rockhold is concerned, that advantage will be negated. It seems that he has carefully studied Weidman through his past fights which include the ones against Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort. So as far as his wrestling skills are concerned, Rockhold warns that Weidman may want to think twice if he feels that this would work to his advantage.

Now aside from studying Weidman, Rockhold bares that he has been busy sparring as well with big names. That includes Cain Velasquez and Daniel Cormier, two bigger UFC fighters who may have already given him a glimpse on what Weidman could try to pull off.

With that said, it now becomes a mystery on what kind of fight we are going to see. Will it be technical or a no-fear type of a match wherein Weidman and Rockhold would unleash their full arsenal against each other.

Either way, it may all boil down to who can execute his game plan to the letter. One mistake could be costly and fans have seen that happen again and again in the past for fighters who had initially thought they had control of the fight and their opponent.

Come Saturday, this should be an equally interesting fight so don't forget to catch it aside from the main event featuring Aldo and McGregor.
