They may always be at loggerheads with each other, but Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will have an unexpected sweet moment in one of the upcoming episodes of "The Originals."
The promo photos for episode 12 titled "Wild Hearts" hint of a potential heart-to-heart talk between the pair, as Klaus deals with the death of his love interest, Cami (Leah Pipes). During the midseason finale, Aurora (Rebecca Breeds) finally succeeded in her quest to get revenge on her former lover. The hybrid woke up to find her dead beside him. Her throat had been slit and she bled to death. Cami's leaving came as a huge shock, especially after spending the night together.
As Cami's death sinks in, Klaus will turn into a very dangerous predator, hunting down Aurora and making sure she will pay for what she did. He may look tough and unfeeling, but Klaus is sure to be one boiling mess inside. Cami is the first woman he has paid any attention to after Caroline (Candice Accola-King). He is bound to be vey depressed. While his siblings will surely comfort him, one person Klaus will not expect to show some love is the mother of his child, Hayley.
In their battle for the baby, Klaus and Hayley have become so bitter with each other, they cannot stay in the same room without fighting. Before the series went on its winter break, Klaus finally let the werewolf spend some time with Hope. This may be why Hayley is feeling a bit compassionate toward Klaus, as her family is now complete, whereas his is not. The image shows them standing close to each other, looking serious but otherwise, at peace.
Meanwhile, co-executive producer Michael Narducci recently confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Davina (Danielle Campbell) would be bring Kol back to life. After getting axed from her position as regent for the witches of New Orleans, she would now be focusing on resurrecting her former lover. Narducci pointed out, though, that it would not be easy. He also declined to comment on the actor who would play the Mikaelson vampire for season 3B.
"In order for Davina to reach Kol, she'll have to embark on a dangerous journey into New Orleans' supernatural underworld. This will be the first chapter in a storyline that will have long-lasting effects on the entire Mikaelson clan," he said.
"The Originals" season 3 will return on Friday, Jan. 29, at 9 p.m. EST on The CW Network.
