The FBI is close to catching up with the elusive fugitives in the upcoming episode of the NBC series "The Blacklist."

In "The Djinn," the promo released by the network reveals that the Bureau is closing in on Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone), as the pair seems to be a bit tired of running. The noose is tightening around the pair, now that Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Navabi (Mozhan Marno) are aware about their plan to attack the Cabal. Will the FBI finally apprehend Red and Liz after weeks of pursuit?

The Bureau will better make its move soon, however, as a third party is also intent on finding Liz. Last episode, Cooper (Harry Lennix) recruited Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) to locate Liz and hunt down Karakurt (Michael Massee), the Russian assassin who framed her. Though helping Liz to clear up her name means risking his neck with the authorities, Cooper is determined to aid his former agent no matter what it takes.

Meanwhile, Red and Liz will decide to go on the offensive. After weeks of running, the pair will attempt to attack the Cabal by taking down Verdiant Industries, the shadow organization's unofficial agrochemical arm. Cartermatt reports that they will also enlist the help of a mysterious woman, known as the Djinn, who is said to have the gift of making any fantasy become a reality.

Liz wants revenge after all that happened to her. In the teaser, she can be seen asking Djinn that she wants the people who framed her to pay for what they did. She and Red also believes that the woman can help them in clearing up the former's name by leading them to where the Cabal is hiding. Will Djinn be able to help the pair in their quest?

"The Blacklist" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
