Amy (Mayim Bialik) will finally take a step towards moving on from her busted relationship with Sheldon (Jim Parsons) in the upcoming episode of the CBS long-running series "The Big Bang Theory."

In "The Helium Insufficiency," Cartermatt reports that she will let her best friends Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) get her back into the dating game through a new mobile dating app. Sheldon will not be happy to learn that the girls want Amy to find a new boyfriend. Is this his ex-girlfriend's way of getting back at him for daring to ask two women out last episode?

Fans were relieved when Amy turned down Barry Kripke's (John Ross Bowie) proposal that they try out dating. Sheldon was able to breathe freely after learning what happened, but his attempt to make Amy jealous might not help him with this new hurdle. Last week, he asked two girls out on a date when he and the guys were in a bar after the fencing lesson. Although he was unsuccessful, Amy found out what he did and was very hurt. Will this push her into trying out the dating app and make Sheldon jealous as payback?

Meanwhile, Sheldon may be dealing with a double black eye next episode, as he and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) suspect that someone is trying to snatch their idea for Superfluid Helium. Desperate to finish their creation, the two will take desperate measures and buy much needed supplies from Kenny (guest star Michael Rapaport), a black market dealer.

Last episode, Leonard, Sheldon, Raj (Kunal Nayyar), and Howard (Simon Helberg) decided that it was time to tone their musculature by getting involved in a new physical activity. After some deep introspection, they picked fencing as it does not seem to require a lot of exhausting movements. They asked Kripke to help them out. Unfortunately for Sheldon, his new coach overheard his conversation with Leonard about his break up with Amy.

It was then revealed that Kripke fancies Sheldon's ex-girlfriend and decided that since the coast was clear, he would try and ask her out. Sheldon got so upset after learning this that he promptly got drunk on pumpkin ale in the bar. That was when he made the outrageous proposals to a woman and her grandmother.

When the guys reached home, they encountered Amy and Bernadette. Sheldon then blurted out that Kripke was very taken with Amy and might ask her out. Amy said he already did but she turned him down. Very relieved, he drunkenly babbled that he also got rejected that night. Amy was not pleased.

"The Big Bang Theory" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
