Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his pack will take on their biggest enemy when the MTV hit series "Teen Wolf" returns for the second half of its fifth season.

Entertainment Weekly reports that a humongous creature will arrive in Beacon Hills to cause terror. While attending the New York Comic Con in early October, Posey shared with the website some spoilers on what fans can expect in January, including details about "The Beast." Introduced in the Dread Doctor's cryptic mural, "La Bête" is reportedly one colossal enemy.

"The beast is...I don't know what we're aloud to tell you. It's physically huge. 'The Beast' is a massive monster, way bigger than the berserker. He's bigger than a berserker but not quite King Kong," the actor revealed.

Unfortunately, Posey could not divulge any more details, aside from it being "ominous and scary." He said that his knowledge about "The Beast" was limited, as he has not yet filmed with the new villain. Cody Christian and Dylan Sprayberry, who play Theo and Liam, respectively, however, have had the pleasure of meeting it. The two will reportedly encounter the creature before or during the fifth episode.

Meanwhile, Cartermatt reports that Scott and Kira's (Arden Cho) relationship will also be tackled in season 5B. Last season, the kitsune left Beacon Hills because she was afraid she might hurt Scott and her friends while she was in one of her episodes. Kira still could not tame the power surging inside her, and she has had several incidents where it controlled her.

While it is still not clear if she and Scott have broken up, the website posits that it is a possibility for the upcoming installment. Scott may let her go to keep her safe from the Dread Doctors. The pair may also decide to stick together and become stronger as a couple.

"Teen Wolf" season 5B will return on Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
