Dean (Jensen Ackles) will personally go to Hell to save his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) in the upcoming episode of the hit The CW series "Supernatural."

In "The Devil in the Details," the promo photos released for episode 10 show the Winchesters reunited in the cage that Sam and Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) are sharing. Dean finally learns that Sam got trapped in there while trying to convince the fallen angel to help them defeat Amara (Emily Swallow). Sam decided to seek Lucifer after having visions from God. Lucifer then revealed that it was he who was sending those to lure Sam to Hell. It appears that Lucifer wants Sam to once again be his meat suit.

According to the synopsis, he will be offering Sam a way out of the cage in exchange for something. Fortunately for the younger Winchester, Dean will come to his rescue. He has Castiel (Misha Collins) with him and in the photos, it looks like they are squaring off with Lucifer. The angel, who was previously pristine, is lying on his back and sporting an ugly gash in his forehead. Another image shows Dean at Lucifer's mercy, as he dangles several feet off the ground while the devil is holding him by the neck.

Sam is also looking worse for wear. His face is all bloody and it looks like he has had a thorough beating. Only Dean managed to look unhurt, although Lucifer appears as if he is blackmailing him. All through it all, Rowena (Ruth Connell) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) are watching helplessly. It remains unclear why Crowley is holding his mother with a chain around her neck, while Dean is glaring from the behind. Perhaps the devil is trying to restrain Rowena to prevent her from stopping Dean with his plans. Will the older Winchester succeed in saving Sam?

"Supernatural" returns Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
