'Suits' season 4 spoilers: Stephen Macht returns and Troian Bellisario guest stars

Watch out for the show's new episode in winter. Facebook

The mid-season premiere of "Suits" still has no official release date and USA Network hasn't confirmed it yet. But if there's one thing that's certain, fans of the series are highly anticipating the series' newest season.

Aaron Korsh, creator of "Suits," did make a tease about when the show will return. On his Twitter account, he posted that the show is expected to return by January 2015. As of Nov. 8, they were already nearing the end of filming and will film the season 4 finale in "a couple of weeks."

Korsh also revealed some other information about Season 4B, one of which is the return of Stephen Macht, who will play his recurring role as Harvard Law Professor Gerard. By the way, for those who haven't yet noticed, Stephen is the real-life father of the show's lead actor, Gabriel Macht, who plays the role of Harvey Reginald Specter. Their onscreen chemistry is something to watch out for given that it doesn't happen every episode.

In a talk with The Hollywood Reporter, the elder Macht shared his enthusiasm about going back to "Suits."

"Reprising my role as Professor Gerard on Suits is an opportunity of a lifetime for a father. As a former drama professor who once coached 15-year-old Gabriel in the role of Cyrano de Bergerac, I now experience the reality of a role reversal. Gabriel coaches me as Professor Gerard; the student has become the teacher," he said.

The actor also shared that his relationship with his son is "edgy" with "raw emotional honesty." That is why their scenes exhibit "plain fun" since it's nothing very new to the father and son.

Apart from Stephen Macht returning, there's a newcomer gracing TV screens in the show's season 4B. She plays Spence in "Pretty Little Liars," and is also actor Patrick J. Adams' (character Mike Ross) fiancée, so it's not really a shocker for her to appear in "Suits."

She is none other than Troian Bellisario, whom Korsh teased as Mike's new love interest. Troian will play a character named Claire and she will have a past with Mike. She will be part of a flashback and it will be seen that Mike and Claire met when he was still a bike messenger.

That's not all. Korsh also shared that Harvey's mother or brother will appear in the next half of the season, just one of them though. It looks like a family reunion will take place with Harvey's family jumping in.

"Suits" is expected to hit TV screens in January 2015.
