'Street Fighter 5' DLC character, release date: 'Ibuki' joins the set this month

The Street Fighter series is ever popular by keeping the fans interested through the addition of new game content with DLCs- extra game content that is downloadable through the game's official publisher. Movie News Guide states that the executive producer of Capcom, Ono, announced that they promise more content and DLC characters to "Street Fighter 5". Last month, the company added an improved Guile to the roster.

A fan-favorite, Ibuki, is one of the characters who has stood out the most among those from "Street Fighter 3: New Generation". Den of Geek gives us more introspection into the trailer, which showcases an Ibuki equipped with a limited amount of kunai and bombs, which are part of her V-trigger. The player will also have more control on the bomb's detonation time. Ibuki will have the ability to hover in the air for a limited amount of time, states GameSpot. She is expected to be out on the DLC later along with Juri, Balrog and Urien.

Several fans were looking forward to the return of Ibuki to "Street Fighter 5". According to Uber Gizmo, fans initially assumed that Ibuki will appear on the DLC with new moves and the ability to use bombs after Capcom released the announcement trailer for Ibuki at the end of May. This, however, was a misunderstanding, because they recently confirmed that Ibuki has been planned to be released alongside "Street Fighter: Story Mode" by the end of June.

The Bitbag confirms, however, that the official "Street Fighter" twitter account gave out tweets confirming that Ibuki was supposed to come out around May. This decision was delayed instead for reasons not known to the public. At the end of June, Ibuki will be out along with the Cinematic Expansion. Capcom has also promised fans that they will deliver news faster this time around.
