When "Star Wars: Battlefront" was first released last November, it seemed too small and undeveloped to make a name for itself in the gaming industry. However, it did gain a small fanbase due to attention from the movie "The Force Awakens".
It has been a few months, but the creators have finally gotten around to adding continuous downloadable content made available online. HNGN reports that the new DLC to be made available is "Bespin," an update that will introduce the characters Lando Calrissian and Dengar, along with five multiplayer maps for the area Cloud City.
According to Eurogamer, everyone who tries out the DLC receives a free update that includes a rank increase to 70, along with new appearances for both Imperial and Rebel sides. Leia's honor guard troops will turn into Royal Guards, and Palpatine's bodyguards will also turn into Alderaan guards. They added tweaks and buffs to everything, including even Boba Fett and Palpy.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, the first DLC, "Outer Rim," was received by Season Pass users last March. Then it was released to the general public in April. EA DICE has already confirmed their bug fix update for the "Bespin" release, which means that there should be smoother gaming for most players.
"Bespin," on the other hand, provides a new game mode titled Sabotage, along with some star cards and weapons for the player's enjoyment. Game n Guide reports that the developer for "Star Wars: Battlefront", DICE, explained, "As part of the update for the 'Bespin' DLC, we will be raising the level cap to 70 and introduce several new Hutt Contracts for you to complete, with visual unlocks to claim and a collect new Star Cards. This is evident in both our new Asset Cards (the Shock Grenade and the Scout Binoculars), as well as our new Charge Card (Sabotage)."
The "Bespin" DLC for "Star Wars: Battlefront" will be available for download starting July 5.
