The Hidden One (Peter Mensah) and Pandora's (Shannyn Sossamon) love story that spans thousands of years will finally be told in the second half of season 3 of "Sleepy Hollow."
Aside from being the main villain in the hit FOX series, little is known about the woman with the scary box. Pandora arrived in Sleepy Hollow and immediately got the Witnesses' attention by capturing the Headless Horseman. She does not directly attack Abbie (Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod (Tom Mison), but usually sends her minions to cause chaos in town and then sits back to watch how they will deal with the situation.
When The Hidden One appeared to Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) when she was under the power of Anubis, viewers got the idea that he and Pandora have a long history together. The ancient Sumerian god appears to have a huge control over Pandora. Beyond that, though, the series does not offer other details about them. In season 3B, however, that will soon change, as according to showrunner Clifton Campbell, the mystery couple's relationship is about to be unveiled.
"Their origin story is that they're from very disparate backgrounds: He's a banished God who hopes to have his kingdom once again, and she started out life as a human. Their love caused the Hidden One's kingdom to skip a rail, and 4,000 years later, they have an opportunity to have what they once had again," the executive producer told Yahoo News.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode titled "Kindred Spirits" will see Abbie finally reunited with Ichabod and her sister. Their attempt to go back to their normal lives will be disrupted by the arrival of a new threat. The Kindred, a supernatural creature created from the body parts of dead soldiers, has come to Sleepy Hollow to terrorize its citizens. Spoiler TV reports that the trio will have to find out why he has become evil and send him back to the Netherworld.
"Sleepy Hollow" season 3 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
