"Sherlock" fans are at it again. Following the release of the titles for episodes 1 and 2, avid fans of the show are piecing together clues derived from the recently held San Diego Comic-Con and hints from the episode titles.

The title for the first episode has been revealed to be "The Six Thatchers" while the second episode is entitled "The Lying Detective," Bustle reported.

Fans immediately connected John Watson's (Martin Freeman) blog to the first episode as he has previously written about it. John blogged about a case they tackled concerning the murder of a student who sculpted six satirical mini statues of Margaret Thatcher.

Rumors speculate that the villain could be replicating cases previously solved by the duo. It could also be the show's take on "The Adventure of the Six Napoleons", one of the original Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Meanwhile, the second episode is expected to feature Mr. Smith, who will be played by Toby Jones. It is expected that Mr. Smith's connection to Moriarty will be revealed in this episode. Mr. Smith appeared in the story "The Dying Detective" written by Doyle, and one of the show's creator's — Steven Moffat — described his character as "one of Conan Doyle's finest villains."

The episode could also be a major episode that will establish a new dynamic between John and Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) now that the former is married.

The show's co-creator Mark Gatiss assured fans that they will be in for an exciting season next year. "There are things that come to fruition in this series which we've been planning for years," he said.

He also left fans with some food for thought about the last three seasons of the show, Huffington Post reported.

"People also find things that aren't there. Which is my favourite. And then miss the blindingly obvious things that are there. People read an awful lot into it," he said.

Gatiss also appears on the show as Sherlock's brother Mycroft.
