Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin is not concerned about the figures in potentially a new deal that he will get. All he is looking for is to stay with the team that selected him 15th overall in the 2012 National Football League (NFL) Draft.

Irvin will soon be an unrestricted free agent and despite the tempting option of looking for greener pastures in free agency, plans to stay in Seattle.

"Pete [Carroll] and John [Schneider] asked me that when I met with them today. If it came to that, I would definitely come back. $3, $4 million? $3, $4, $5 million? I would definitely come back because I'm established here," Irvin said, according to ESPN

The 28-year-old linebacker added, "These are my brothers. I honestly can't even imagine myself playing with anybody else, being in a different meeting room, listening to different pregame speeches. It's just crazy to me. I would definitely come back if they matched or if it was a little less. I would definitely come back to Seattle."

This season, Irvin continued to be a crucial part of the Seahawks' defense, tallying a career-best 38 tackles with 5.5 sacks.

In a total of 58 regular season games played for the Seahawks, the linebacker drafted out of West Virginia has 131 tackles and 22 sacks.

It is likely that Irvin remains with the Seahawks, since the organization has a reputation of having the ability to let their key players stay.

But the Seahawks will have to do a good job on negotiating this offseason since, according to ESPN's report, there will be seven starting players that are set to become free agents.

Seattle must undergo a tough assessment of its current roster, since this season marked the end of its dominance in the National Football Conference (NFC).

Last Sunday, the Seahawks lost to the Carolina Panthers and failed to not just defend the conference title they had for two consecutive seasons, but also reach the Super Bowl for the third straight year.
