Scientists, Theologians and WCC to meet to discuss “Terror, Fear and Anxiety in Europe

Around 200 Catholic scientists and theologians from 31 different countries will gather to examine ecumenical perspectives with senior World Council of Churches (WCC) staff leaders. The group will meet at the Ecumenical Centre for a full-day programme on Tuesday 31st August.

The programme is the only one organised in Geneva for the attendants of the 5th International Congress of the European Society for Catholic Theology (AETC), which will take place in Fribourg on 29th August to 2nd September, and will hold the theme of ”Terror, fear and anxiety in Europe: Challenges for Theology”.
