The much awaited unveiling of Samsung's two flagships is fast approaching so expect the rumor mill blurt out like crazy in the coming days.

The latest leak on the device shows the color variants that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be coming out in — silver, black and gold. Credit for this once again goes to known tipster Evan Blass @evanblass via Twitter.

The shades seem to be similar to previous releases, but it will be interesting to see if Samsung will be appending that lineup with other colors. Even though the features are not expected to be affected by it, there are some who prefer personalizing the device according to their taste.

As a reference, Samsung released these colors — emerald green, black, white and gold — for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge before. Could there be more?

Either way, folks don't have to wait that long to see for themselves. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge this coming Feb. 21.

Aside from the colors, the features expected remain pretty much the same for the Galaxy S7/ S7 Edge. Such include an Exynos 8890 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a 12-megapixel main camera that carries some improvements for capturing photos in low-lit environments.

As far as the screen size is concerned, the Galaxy S7 is believed to be toting a 5.1-inch screen (1440 x 2560 display) while the Galaxy S7 Edge will tote a bigger 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display.

With an impressive roster of features, it will be interesting to see if this device will be a big hit with the consumer electronic market.

There are already rumors as well concerning its price and it is believed that the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will cost a bundle. There is also concern on the 3,600 mAh battery, which many are questioning as far as longevity is concerned.

Either way, expect that device to be out at the Samsung Unpacked Event and at the 2016 Mobile World Congress event proper next week.
