One of the most talked about handsets that is expected to launch in 2015 is the Samsung Galaxy S6, which will be the future flagship smartphone from the South Korean consumer and tech manufacturer. According to speculations, Samsung will unveil the soon-to-be released Galaxy S6 during the Mobile World Congress sometime in Spring next year. Reports mention that phone will be built with a metal body, just like the recently released Galaxy Note 4 as well as Galaxy Alpha.

The Samsung Galaxy S6, which is also known as Project Zero by industry insiders, will reportedly have a 5-inch or a 5.6-inch touchscreen. Since the present Galaxy S5 is already equipped with impressive specs under the hood, it is expected that the next generation from the Galaxy S product line will match, if not surpass, its current features.

Some of the most common rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 is its alleged 16- or 20-megapixel rear primary camera with 5-megapixel front-facing secondary camera as well as a 64-bit Exynos 7420 or Snapdragon 810 processor variety.

Meanwhile, Sony has its own new smartphone product coming up. According to reports, the Japanese tech manufacturer will release the next generation of their Sony Xperia Z series, which will be called the Sony Xperia Z4.

According to rumors, the company is expected to come up with upgraded specs from its present Xperia Z3 flagship smartphone with minimal changes to its external design. It will also have an exceptional 20-megapixel primary camera with 4K video capacity.

Sony is also expected to announce the news about their new flagship phone during the Mobile World Congress in Spain in March, alongside another soon-to-be released product, the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact.

If all these rumors turn out to be true, then the smartphone market will continue to flourish in 2015.
