Mobile carrier T-Mobile is set to launch a new promotion aimed to tip the scales in favor of Samsung Galaxy devices.

In an internal memo captured by TMO News, the company will be offering a $100 T-Mobile Prepaid MasterCard for buyers of listed Samsung phones and tablets.

In order to qualify for the promo, customers need to buy both a Samsung phone and a tablet on EIP, although not on the same day. The second purchase can be made within 30 days of the first one.

Additionally, the second purchase, be it a phone or a tablet, needs to be activated on a postpaid rate plan. For those already with other plans, the plan on the second unit needs to be upgraded to either the "best tablet plan" or "match your phone data tablet plan." These plans, for $10 monthly, will have tablets under T-Mobile the same amount of data as with their smartphone counterparts. The match can be made up to 5 GB.

Upon purchase of the second unit and if the customer feels that they have already qualified, they can then mail their receipts off for T-Mobile to process the request. It would take at least eight weeks for the $100 prepaid card to be processed. Additionally, both devices have to stay active and the payments updated when the $100 prepaid card request is being processed.

For those wanting to check which Samsung devices they can avail under the promo, the smartphones listed are the newly-launched and current flagships Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge; and the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge. For the tablets, eligible for the deal are the Galaxy Tab S and the Galaxy Tab 4.

The promotion starts on May 13. However, the communication did not say when the promotion will end, or how the prepaid cards will be sent out.
