It has been speculated that Samsung will be coming out with two new devices this month. The rumor seems solid, as reports of leaked official photos of the new Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus have surfaced online.
Tech observer and industry tipster Evan Blass posted on Twitter the supposed official images of the two new Samsung flagships, ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event scheduled on Aug. 13 in New York.
While Samsung has yet to comment if the images are indeed official, the leak has also put into focus the rumored specifications of the said devices.

— Evan Blass (@evleaks) August 1, 2015 " data-caption="null" data-credit="null">According to speculations, the next premium flagship Note 5, developed as Project Noble, will have a 5.66-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, and a new octa-core Exynos 7420 processor. The new Note 5 will also come with a 4-GB RAM, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop right out of the box, and an upped 16-MP main shooter and 5-MP front camera. It is also expected to come out with a new push-to-remove S Pen.
It is unclear on how many storage versions the Galaxy Note 5 will come out with, but Evan Blass also tweeted that the smartphone will have no SD support and therefore will not have expandable storage. In addition, since the new Note will have the new metal and glass design, the removable back panel from the previous Note 4 will be conspicuously absent, so the Note 5 will also have a non-removable battery.
For the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, rumors say that it will only be a bigger version of the current S6 Edge product. Based on the images, the S6 Edge Plus will also come close to the Note 5's dimensions, so the device will most likely have at least a 5.6- to even a 6-inch display.
