HTC recently released its smartphone named HTC One M8 that attracted the attention of many users. This smartphone will battle against Samsung Galaxy Note 4 later this year.
Consumers could be confused on whether to buy the HTC One M8 or wait for the phablet to be offered by Samsung. Below is the comparison of HTC One M8 against the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that will help in choosing which smartphone to buy.
Screen Display – HTC One M8 is equipped with 5 inch Full HD screen display with 441 ppi. Samsung Galaxy Note 4, on the other hand, is rumored to pack a 5.7 inch screen display with 2K pixel resolution.
Processor – The HTC One M8 packed a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.3 paired with 2GB RAM. The handset also packed a separate Adreno 330 GPU. Meanwhile, Samsung's phablet will be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon chipset and comes along with 3GB of RAM.
Operating System – HTC's new smartphone runs with 4.4.2 version of Android Kitkat OS, which can be upgraded to 4.4.3 version of Android OS. However, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will most likely pack the next generation of Android OS to be by Google unveiled later this month.
Internal Storage – HTC One M8 is available in 16GB and 32GB variants and will be equipped with microSD slot for additional external storage of up to 128GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will surely make a device in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with microSD slot for extra storage.
Camera – HTC One M8 sports a Dual 4 Ultrapixel camera at the back with dual LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. There were rumors that claim that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will pack a 20.7 megapixel back camera.
Battery – HTC's handset is powered by 2,600 mAh, while the Samsung's fourth generation tablet-smartphone hybrid was rumored to pack a battery with more than 3,000 mAh capacity.
