Galaxy Note 4 is Samsung's hope to win back fans after decline in earnings

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release is the company's hope to jump back from the steady decline in its earnings, according to reports.

Time reported that Samsung is set to officially announce its earnings report but it already warned stakeholders for a decline as much as 27% as the demand for Samsung smartphones continue to wane. Samsung offers a wide range of high end and middle smartphones and tablets. However, many consumers say that the devices lack innovation.

Although Samsung claimed that the sales of the recently-released Galaxy S5 are strong, it is not enough for the company to make a rebound with its losses in the earnings for the last two quarters.

However, the company is hoping that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will turn the tables and attract more sales.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is set to release in early September at the IFA 2014 in Berlin just like the releases last year. This is fueled by reports that the company's phablet will enter mass production this month to meet the time for release.

Other reports suggested that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be released alongside other Samsung devices such as Gear Live, Gear Glass, and Samsung Galaxy F or also dubbed as the Galaxy S5 Prime.

Although Samsung has not revealed the official specs and features of the next-gen tablet-smartphone hybrid, some of the rumored specs and features of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 include: quadHD screen display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, 64-bit processor, Android 4.4.3 Kitkat operating system, 3GB RAM, 3 megapixel front-facing camera.

The handset will be available in two variants packing varying processors. Just like the previous Galaxy Note phablets, the international variant released in Europe and Asia will come with the Exynos chipset, the unit released in the US will pack the Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor.
