NFL star Russell Wilson and singer Ciara sent their fans into a frenzy when the Christian athlete called his girlfriend "the one," therefore igniting their engagement rumours even further.

On his Instagram account (@dangerussellwilson), Wilson shared a photo of himself and Ciara while out on a romantic date and teasingly captioned it, "The One."

When E! News tried asking Ciara if she got an engagement ring that evening, she completely played it cool by saying that people should simply tell her, "Congratulations on good love."

Ciara has been hounded relentlessly for news about their engagement, but the singer insists that they are simply taking their time. "You have to ask the guy that. Let me tell you, no pressure. One day at a time," she earlier said.

In another interview, Ciara said their engagement will happen when God finally wants it to happen. She added that she feels confident about their relationship even though they are not engaged yet.

"I feel very confident in the love that we have for each other, and only God knows where it's going to go," she previously told Page Six. "God knows everything that's to come in the future, and I think it's best to let Him keep taking control of things. Life is sweet, and I'm very thankful for all the great things happening in my life. I'm very happy."

The two also made the news before when they made a pact to remain celibate before they get marriage. The couple admitted that it has been quite a challenge to refrain from having sex, but they are happy with their decision because they were able to strengthen their emotional and spiritual bond.
