Ronda Rousey 2015 fight news: Miesha Tate says she deserves another shot at Rousey

Unless the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) makes a drastic change in the planned billing this December, we should be seeing Miesha Tate facing off against the reigning UFC Women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey for a third time.

Tate is currently the no. 1 contender to Rousey's title. She regained the status after disposing Jessica Eye at UFC on Fox 16; and such was confirmed by no other than UFC president Dana White.

However, there is something that could hinder that from happening. According to the camp of Cris 'Cyborg' Justino, the UFC had allegedly approached them for a possible tiff between Rousey and Justino.

White has, of course, denied the allegations and did mention before that Cyborg has to satisfy two conditions before that could happen.

One is that Justino must make the catchweight of 135 pounds. The second condition is that she must fight at least once before getting a crack at Rousey. It was after these conditions were declared that former wrestling coach Tito Ortiz and Justino's manager George Prajin claimed via ESPN that the UFC had approached them for a possible megafight.

So is this the reason why Tate is vouching that she is the most deserving out of other female fighters to face Rousey next?

But what if there is any truth to the fact that Justino is being primed for a fight with Rousey?

If that should be the case, Tate wouldn't mind proving that she deserves it more and that includes possibly facing Justino to determine who Rousey faces next.

Of course, that would all depend if White would be keen to the idea, plus the fact that we are already nearing the end of August. Will a supposed fight still fit in between now and December?

The only sure thing for December is that Rousey will be fighting. On who her opponent would be is still up for debate, despite the UFC claiming that Tate has the inside track.
