With the fourth season of the historical romantic drama show "Reign" green-lit by The CW, a lot of rumors say that the production has already been started and that it is possible for its premiere date to be pushed back.

According to MNR Daily, the fourth season of "Reign" was originally going to be premiered sometime this fall, but rumors now say that the release of this show will be moved to early 2017 in order to accommodate some of The CW's other shows such as "The 100," "iZombie" and "The Originals." However, this does not seem to be the only problem the production will encounter, as the HBO hit show "Game of Thrones" is scheduled to premiere by 2017, in summer, which could push the show's premiere even further.

However, the Parent Herald says that this move is prudent since moving the fourth season of "Reign" will ensure that it will get more viewers and prevent a collision with the seventh season of "Game of Thrones." This way, the fans of both these shows will not be conflicted as to what show to watch more if they have the same run dates.

With this delay, a lot of fans are also excited that Will Kemp, an English actor, has been added to the cast. He will be playing Lord Darnley, an English Nobleman who will become Mary's husband, as reported by Deadline. With his addition to the show, a lot of fans now think that the fourth season of "Reign" will still stay true to history, which will lead to Darnley's death within a year after he gets married to the Queen of Scots, Mary.

As such, with no official release date for "Reign" yet, fans believe that the show will air by the fall of 2017.
