'Pretty Little Liars' season 6 spoilers: Ezra's new relationship leaves him scarred, angry at the world

The five-year time jump will not be kind to Ezra (Ian Harding) after losing not one but two women very dear to him in "Pretty Little Liars" season 6.

In the promo for the upcoming episode titled "Of Late I Think of Rosewood," Ezra is seen shouting and looking wasted. Spoilers for season 6B claim that just like Aria (Lucy Hale), he has found a new love. The woman's name was Nicole, and she was previously featured in the first half of the current installment. The character was played by Rebecca Breeds.

Nicole was the girl Ezra followed down to South America. Speculations claim, however, that the relationship would not work out, leaving him angry and hurt. Nicole would reportedly be taken away from Ezra too soon and in a very violent manner. This is why when viewers see him at the first part of the series, he will be a little unstable. The clip shows him getting furious at the girls who visited him.

In the teaser, Aria, Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) go to see Ezra and console him. He does not appreciate their thoughtfulness, though, and ends up shouting at them. While it remains unsure if the meeting will be the first time Aria and Ezra will see each other after the break up, it will be interesting to see their dynamics now that they are separated.

Fans of "Ezria," however, should not get their hopes up that there will be a reunion for the pair. Series creator Marlene King told Variety that it is unlikely that the two will get back together.

"They never really had a chance for a long-term relationship because their relationship started with so many secrets and lies. And I will say five years later, it's kind of an empty place and they're going to be friends first and foremost," she said.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 will premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform (formerly ABC Family).
