After that sizzling scene at the final minutes of the previous episode of "Pretty Little Liars," Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) will have some alone time once more, as they try to track down the source of the mysterious text.
In "Old Guys, New Lies," CarterMatt reports that the new lovers will work together to determine who sent the text that sent the Liars in panic mode. The message warns the Liars that the sender would make them talk about the night Charlotte aka Cece Drake (Vanessa Ray) was murdered. With this new development, it now becomes clear that someone reminiscent of "A" is haunting them. If they are not careful, the new "big bad" will make their lives as miserable as they were before Charlotte was sent to jail.
At the head of the pack are Spencer and Caleb, the newest couple in Rosewood. Last episode, they finally admitted that they have feelings for each other. Spencer asked Hanna (Ashley Benson) if it was okay that she was spending some time with her ex-boyfriend. The blonde said it did not matter, since she was getting married. When Hanna asked Spencer if she liked Caleb, the latter was not able to answer. Later, however, she gave in to her emotions when she discovered Caleb waiting for her at the barn. They made out and now they are officially a couple. It remains to be seen, though, how the girls will react to their relationship.
Meanwhile, Aria (Lucy Hale) is still intent on uncovering the details on the night Ezra (Ian Harding) went missing. The Liars all think he has something to do with Charlotte's murder. It turned out that he and Aria were together in the wee hours of the morning that fateful day, but they separated shortly after. Ezra does not want to say where he went, which makes the girls think he is hiding something. Aria will ask Emily (Shay Mitchell) for help to determine once and for all if Ezra is guilty or not.
