Aria (Lucy Hale) will be her friends' primary suspect in the murder of Charlotte aka Cece Drake (Vanessa Ray) in the upcoming episode of the hit series "Pretty Little Liars."

In "Charlotte's Web," CarterMatt reports that while Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) calmly accept that they have to stay longer in Rosewood in the wake of the tragic incident, Aria is not so forthcoming with the idea. After what happened to Charlotte, the Liars have to grit their teeth and endure being in their hometown until such time the police deems it's okay that they go. Last episode, Charlotte's dead body was found at the foot of the bell tower. While everyone thought she committed suicide, the postmortem showed that she was already dead when she hit the ground.

That night was Charlotte's first time to return home after being imprisoned for all the bad things she did as "A." Allison (Sasha Pieterse) asked her friends to tell the court that they were not afraid of her sister anymore and they want her to come home to the DiLaurentis. Out of the four, only Aria changed her script, declaring that she did not want Charlotte to be free as long as she was alive. The judge eventually granted Charlotte's freedom, and the girls celebrated by getting drunk.

In the morning, Alison called them to ask if they saw Charlotte. When they eventually found her, she was already dead. The upcoming episode will continue the police's investigation on her death and the Liars' brave attempt to stay composed in the face of the new mystery. The synopsis reveals that they will start getting suspicious of Aria when she decides to return to Boston "a little too quickly." The fact that she basically announced to everyone her fear and anger at Charlotte is another point against her. Could Aria be the killer?

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform (formerly ABC Family.)
