According to new speculations, it looks like fans may need to wait a little bit longer in order to see the next "Pokémon Z" title.

According to Yibada, one of the reasons that a new "Pokémon Z" title will unlikely release even before the year ends is that The Pokémon Company and Nintendo, the firms behind the franchise, will more than likely coincide the release of new "Pokémon" titles with the anniversary of the first release of the game.

The first "Pokémon" game titles, "Red," "Green," and "Blue," were first released in 1996 for the Gameboy. It has been speculated that to celebrate the 20th year since the inception of the RPG and Pokémon-training title, the publishers will be releasing the next title in the series, "Pokémon Z," in February next year.

It has also been rumored that aside from "Pokémon Z," Nintendo will also celebrate 20 years of Pokémon gaming by joining the bandwagon of augmented reality gamin and announcing "Pokemon GO" also by next year. "Pokémon GO" is said to be the next-level title in the "Pokémon" franchise, letting players in on the story itself by being Pokémon trainers. Fusing augmented reality by coming out with mobile-device supported systems and the upcoming "Pokémon GO Plus" wearable, players can catch their Pokémon from real-world locations.

Meanwhile, while the release date for the upcoming titles is still unclear, it has long been established that the saga of Legendary Pokémon will continue with "Pokémon Z." According to reports, the new title will introduce another Legendary Pokémon, Zygarde, along with other Legendary Pokémon previously introduced in "Pokémon X and Y."

Another title also expected to appear next year is "Pokken Tournament." This will be a fighting/brawler game, where players will battle it out using their chosen Pokémon. The title has been released for Japanese arcades this year and is expected for an international release for the Wii U in the middle months of next year.
