'Pokemon Go' news: Fan makes nest location map for safe, reliable spawn points for specific Pokemon types

Pokemon Go The Pokemon Company/Niantic

"Pokemon GO" can certainly be taxing for players who do not know where to find these critters. But now, due to the collaborative efforts of other players, a spawn chart has been released in order to make it easy for trainers to know where to catch Pokemon.

According to the Parent Herald, spawn rates of the Pokemon are highly dependent on the location, climate and general land area. For instance, parks, farmlands, forests, gardens and other grassy areas are more likely to spawn Grass-type Pokemon such as Bulbasaur, Bellsprout and the like. As such, knowing where these types of Pokemon converge and spawn will almost always guarantee a player to catch one.

Furthermore, a certain website, Poke Radar allows players to see the area where Pokemon had spawned. As such, a fan was able to make a chart that shows the rate of spawn in a specific type of area per 10,000 as well as the time when a specific Pokemon spawns on the map. An example would be Charmander, which will spawn at an average of 25.3 per 10,000, with it spawning most likely around 08:45.

This spawn chart is also inclusive of some of the more common Pokemon like Pikachu, Squirtle, Pidgey, Rattata and Caterpie. Some of the rarer Pokemon on the list also includes Dratini, the Eevee-lutions like Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon, Gyarados and Snorlax. The full spawn chart is shown on The Bitbag.

This spawn chart allows the newer players in the game to progress much easier, since most of the third-party applications used to aid players can lead to permanent bans by Niantic. Meanwhile, this spawn chart is safe and is certainly reliable in a statistical fashion.

In any case, Niantic has recently changed the spawn locations as well as the Pokemon nests in the game, but this chart however was made after the update, which still makes it reliable and up-to-date.
