The hit mobile game "Pokemon GO" might not be as popular now as it was when it was first launched, but its fanbase is still going strong. After all, Niantic is still releasing updates for the app, and most players were ecstatic when it was announced that daily quests and bonuses will become a regular occurence in the game.

According to Game Rant, the team behind "Pokemon GO" is currently in the process of releasing their daily and weekly bonus update for the game, as well as some other tweaks and fixes that would certainly help make the whole experience much better for gamers. Niantic assures its fans that the daily and weekly bonuses will be worthwhile, and this applies to both iOS and Android device users.

Through their Google+ account, the development team noted that aside from rolling out the daily and weekly bonus updates, they also have a few specific patch notes that detail how the mechanics work. Players can earn a bonus for their first Pokemon catch as well as their first Pokestop visit every day.

However, the bonus gets bigger once players are able to complete these tasks seven days in a row.

The rewards are pretty sweet as players will earn 500 experience points as well as 600 stardust per day when completing the tasks on a daily basis. Once they complete these tasks on a weekly basis, they will receive 2,000 experience points and 2,400 stardust weekly.

This will certainly benefit players who have been playing for a while, especially those who are currently struggling to reach higher levels.

Meanwhile, Game N Guide reports that one of the most highly coveted Pokemon in the game — Ditto — will allegedly make an appearance once the Gen 2 Pokemon get released. However, with no specific release date currently planned for the Gen 2 "Pokemon GO" update just yet, players will have to wait for further news fron Niantic.
