 The Pokemon Company/Niantic

A lot of fans are coveting Dragonite in the hit augmented reality game "Pokemon GO." However, it can be seen that rare Pokemon like it are hard to find, among others yet to be released by Niantic, such as the Legendary Birds Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres.

According to the Inquisitr, there is a detailed list online based on calculations from approximately 100 million data points over the course of a week that more or less captures, at a glance, the spawn rate of all the 151 1st Generation Pokemon that most players want to catch. In this list, it is detailed that Bulbasaur is the easiest starter Pokemon to find, with its spawn rate 0.69 percent. Charmander is the lowest among the three, with a 0.25 percent spawn rate. Squirtle is in between, with a 0.58 percent spawn rate.

However, the evolved versions of these starters drastically decrease in spawn rate, with Ivysaurs only at 0.04 percent and Venusaur at 0.017. Charizard, hower, is one of the most difficult Pokemon to find, since it only has about 0.0031 percent chance of spawning. Apart from it, however, here are some other Pokemon that have abyssmal spawn rates: Alakazam (0.0073), Blastoise (0.0069), Gengar (0.0067), Golem (0.0047), Gyarados (0.0032), Kabutops (0.0032), Machamp (0.0068), Muk (0.0031), Ninetails (0.0077), Omastar (0.0061), and Vileplume (0.0097).

For those wondering about the spawn rate of the iconic Pikachu, Pokemon Go Hub points out that it is on a slightly lower tier of spawn rates, with only 0.21 percent. It is around the same rate as Dodrio and Vulpix at 0.22 percent and Koffing at 0.20. On the other side of the spectrum, Pidgey and Rattata are considered to be on the top of the list of the most commonly spawned Pokemon, with 15.98 percent spawn rate for the former and 13.05 for the later.

As for Dragonite, being the rarest among the currently available Pokemon, will only have a 0.0011 percent of spawning, which certainly leaves fans wanting to get their own Dragonite for either bragging or practical uses.
