Rebecca Robertson to join Phil Robertson, Uncle Si, Willie and Korie on Duck Dynasty season 5 premiere episode tonight

Hit reality show Duck Dynasty will be returning or season 5 on January 15, 2014. A&E

Duck Dynasty will be returning for with all new episodes in its season 5 premiere tonight at 10pm ET on A&E television.

The Robertson family clan, including Uncle Si, will be returning to the small screen with two new cast members.

One new cast member is Rebecca Robertson, Willie and Korie's adopted foster daughter from Taiwan. She will be making her television debut in tonight's premiere, along with another mysterious newcomer who has not been named.

Last year's season 4 premiere episode drew in nearly 12 million viewers, breaking all reality show premiere records.

In season 4, Alan Robertson joined the reality show as a new cast member. Pastor Alan Robertson is the eldest son of Phil and Kay and is the only Robertson without the iconic beard. At the time, Pastor Alan Robertson said he is joining the word to help share the word of God. "What I do for our church - you see, it's a pretty good-sized church - impacts a lot of people, but because of my association with the show, I'll get to minister to a lot more people," Alan told New York Post. "Any person that's an evangelist, that's what you want to do, so I had to give this up for something possibly bigger.

The Robertson family's patriarch, Phil Robertson, was caught up in controversy last month after his comments made to GQ magazine about homosexuality. Robertson told GQ: "Everything is blurred on what's right and what's wrong ... Sin becomes fine. Start with homosexual behaviour and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men."

He continued, "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers - they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right."

His comments prompted cable network A&E to suspend him from the show on Dec. 18, 2013. But the suspension lasted only nine days as fans threatened to boycott the show and created multiple petitions to bring him back. A&E overturned their decision and reinstated the 67-year-old back to the show on Dec. 27.

The conservative Robertson family has always been outspoken about their Christian faith, with members of the family attending numerous speaking events.
