Peyton Manning leaving Denver Broncos rumors 2016: Eli Manning sees fuzzy future for brother

At 39, Peyton Manning should be among the National Football League (NFL) greats taking their much deserved break after years of playing professional football. Many believe that Super Bowl 50 will be his last stop before he retires.

Manning's peers remain mum on what the Broncos quarterback plans, although it may depend on what the offseason offers him.

His brother Eli believes that Peyton's recent achievement of winning his second Super Bowl will hardly play a factor. It will be all about what he feels and if there is any team that would still want him to call the shots.

Denver would be the logical choice but his age could be a concern. Would he have enough for one more grueling season?

His father Archie offers a different take. It will be all about whether or not his son can still take a hit. Even if he does, he feels that it will happen with another team.

On cue, Peyton did avoid talking about his future plans after the Broncos pulled off an upset over the heavily favored Carolina Panthers. It was as Eli called it. But the question now is up to when?

The Los Angeles Rams have reportedly shown interest in hooking up Manning, although there are murmurs that he could be contemplating retirement.

The season hasn't exactly been kind to Manning, one of the worst ones he has probably had in his 18-year tenure in the NFL.

If he does end up with the Rams, it could be a make or break move for the club. With nothing much to prove, it could be a move to bring in some experience for the ballclub which will be returning to Los Angeles from St. Louis.

Manning is still under contract with the Broncos where he could make $21.5 million. Will that be the case or will Manning end his career on a pretty high note?
