Police have obtained a surveillance footage showing a man near the home of Amanda Blackburn who may be a suspect in her killing.

Blackburn, 28, who was 12 weeks pregnant, was shot in her home Tuesday in Indianapolis, Indiana, and died two days later.

According to the police, the burglary happened at around 5:30 a.m. The perpetrator took a TV and laptop computers, according to CBS News.

"We believe that the people saw this as a home where they could get in and take some things. It just so happens that Amanda was home ... and she was murdered," said Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Capt. Craig Converse.

Blackburn was buried Sunday.

In a Facebook post, her husband, Pastor Davey Blackburn of Resonate Church, wrote, "I cannot thank you enough for the unbelievable outpouring of love that you have shared with my family over the past few days. As many of you know, my wife Amanda Grace and our unborn baby have been tragically killed."

"I know that Jesus is going to make good come from this, so in the event someone from the media tries to speak with you, simply respond by asking everyone to join us in prayer for my family. You can let them know that we have extremely heavy hearts and although we are hurting tremendously, we are still hoping and believing that great things are still yet to come," he added.

Assistant Commander Eric Hench said, "To the individual who committed this crime: You are not as good as you think you are. You left behind evidence."

The surveillance video showed a male betwen 5'4" and 5'9" who was wearing a light-coloured pants and hoodie, and tried to conceal his face from neighbours, according to Indy Star.

The Blackburns moved to Indianapolis from South Carolina in 2012 to build the Resonate Church.

Davey spent four years as youth pastor, production director and associate campus pastor at New Spring Church in South Carolina before building his own church.

Topics in the church include relationship advice, resolving conflicts and what the Bible says about sex, according to Indy Star.

A reward of $1,000 is being offered to anyone who can provide leads to the suspect.

Pastor Mike Colaw, who was called to the hospital after Amanda was shot, wrote that, " As I walked into the room I expected the worst. As a pastor I have walked into a lot of terrible situations. I was floored, literally tearing up with what I experienced," according to Gospel Herald.

"Hope. Powerful, deep hope. Not hope like I hope the doctors can fix this. It was a hope that was bigger than medicine or anything temporal. Their stability seemed to stand independent from any earthly fix and it was bold and clear. Their faith in heaven and in Christ was just as clear as the sun breaking through the clouds after a storm," he said.
