The End of Times is coming, but no one knows when it will happen. The best thing Christians can do is to prepare for Jesus' second coming by abiding in His Word.

Pastor Rick Joyner from MorningStar Fellowship Church wrote on their website that the book of Revelation from the Bible gives Christians the "basics" that will prepare them for the End of Times.

"Knowing what will happen is not as important as being prepared for what will happen," he said. "There is no safer place we could ever be than in His will. We can know all prophecies accurately, but if we are not abiding in Him and doing His will, we can be in as much trouble as those who know nothing."

Joyner said Christians need to do three things to be ready - stand up, look up and rejoice. Christians should stand up for the truth no matter how difficult it might be. Sure, doing so may risk the wrath of society, but if believers want to do what is acceptable to society, then they will be doing what is detestable to God.

"The reverse is also true: If we do what is acceptable to God, we will be doing what is detestable to men. Someone is going to detest what we're doing. Who do we want it to be?" he said. "If we are trying to win men by doing what they approve, they will never respect us enough to hear us anyway, and we will lose God in the process."

Next, Joyner explained that looking up is the process of keeping one's attention on God rather than on the world's troubles. Lastly, rejoicing means never letting anything steal one's joy in the Lord. "If we abide in His righteousness, we will have peace such as the world cannot comprehend. This leads to a joy that is not dependent on the conditions on the earth. Never lose your joy," he said.

Meanwhile, world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham also offered his thoughts on the End of Times. He wrote on his website that Christians should never stop preparing for Jesus' second coming because there will be an onslaught of evil, rebellion and injustice.

"Make sure of your commitment to Christ - and make sure as well that if He does come during your lifetime, He will find you working and living for Him," he said.
