PASSION: White Flag climbs charts

With celebrated artists Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels, Kristian Stanfill and Charlie Hall on the playlist, it’s no surprise that the latest PASSION album has gone down a treat with worship fans.

PASSION: White Flag sold more than 48,000 units in the first week, 61% more than last year’s PASSION: Here For You release.

White Flag quickly rose into the top 5 of the US Billboard Top 200 chart, and No 1 on the Christian SoundScan chart.

The album also scored well on the iTunes Top Albums Overall Chart, rising to No 4, with the deluxe version landing at No 1 on the Christian iTunes chart.

The album features 14 worship songs recorded live at Passion 2012 before a crowd of 42,000 college students from 31 countries.

The lead single, also called “White Flag”, was performed by Grammy winner Tomlin.
