Paris Jackson pregnant? Fans fuel pregnancy rumors

The pregnancy rumors involving Paris Jackson went viral after fans noted that Michael Jackson's only daughter was spotted carrying a baby bump and toasting with water.

Tabloids and entertainment websites had picked up this rumor, reporting just days after the 16-year-old and her unnamed boyfriend were allegedly shopping around for engagement rings.

The Daily Star first broke out the news, saying that fans claimed to notice a tummy bulge hidden under a loose top from the late King of Pop's teen daughter.

"I saw her at dinner and she twice made a toast drinking water instead of wine. That and the prominent stomach bulge got people talking. It's highly unusual to toast with anything but a full glass of wine," a source told the online tabloid.

The Jackson family spokesperson was immediately contacted to verify the report, but refused to comment and simply said, "I do not comment on her personal life."

However, some websites find a few loopholes in the source's claims.

On June 5 last year, Paris attempted suicide by gulping down 20 Motrin painkillers and cutting her wrist using a meat cleaver at her home in Los Angeles. She was then enrolled by her legal guardians in the secluded Diamond Ranch Academy in Utah that caters to teens who have to be treated for grief management and depression.

Since Paris is under psychiatric care, she is probably given medications that could make her gain weight. That could possibly explain why she had a little excess bump in her stomach.

About the toast using water, the fans probably forgot that Paris is only 16, which makes it illegal for her to drink wine. The fact that she is out in a restaurant also made it impossible for her to get an alcoholic drink because the legal drinking age of anyone in the US is 21-years-old.

Aside from Paris, the King of Pop also left his two sons, 17-year-old Prince Michael Jackson I and 12-year-old Prince Michael "Blanket" Jackson II, when he died from cardiac arrest due to Propofol overdose back in 2009.
