Pandora Ladies, an all-female "Overwatch" team from South Korea was hailed as the first champs for the "All for Ladies" tournament hosted by Korean Company Inven.

Although the finals of the tournament was broadcasted last weekend, elimination matches and prelims started in early October. Pandora Ladies swept the scoreboards clean against First Lady in a best-of-five grudge match. Judges, fans, and gamers know that the contestants are all amateurs, but the three matches in the finals looked very similar to those of male pro-gamers.

During the live finals match, commentators called the first match a rollercoaster ride where Widowmakers engaged in mirror matches and D.Va Mechs exploded almost everywhere.

The "All for Ladies" special Overwatch tournament played host to a total of 96 players from all over Korea. Eyedentity Entertainment organized the finals event that lasted for eight hours.

While most male gamers would dismiss the importance of these kinds of tournaments, "All for Ladies" still gave female gamers a chance in the spotlight and show the gaming world that they can go toe-to-toe with male players.

Although these six young ladies were hailed as the first champs for the special tournament, players who attended the event saw how competitive these girls can get – noting also that these girls do not play and train at a regular basis compared to pro-gamers.

Gamers where reminded when Tanukana took the world by surprise when she started nipping down male pro-gamers in any "Tekken 7" tournament, as she got one come-from-behind-win from another. Thanks to the gaming event, players finally noticed that female gamers really do not have as much avenue as compared to male gamers.

Now that Pandora Ladies are basking in their glory, "Overwatch" fans are deep in thought regarding the next season of Overwatch League (OWL) – if it will feature an all-female team.

The finals match was streamed live on both YouTube and Twitch last Oct. 27.
