'Orange Is The New Black' season 3 release date in summer? fresh face to grace the penitentiary

Netflix already came out with its list of upcoming shows for 2015, and it includes "Orange Is The New Black" season 3. Although there is no specific date given, the highly popular prison series is reportedly coming out on the streaming site this summer.

Also, a new girl will add spice in the lives of the inmates of Litchfield Penitentiary in the new season. Australian model and MTV VJ Ruby Rose will join the cast of Netflix's original comedy-drama series when it returns. The show's official Twitter account confirmed Rose's participation in the show.

The newcomer made the announcement via her Facebook page, where she posted a blurb of the new issue of the U.S. Elle Magazine that talks about her role in the show. The post has a caption that reads:

"Grab yourself a copy of U.S ELLE MAGAZINE and read about my new role on a small unheard of series called Orange Is The New Black.. ( insert sarcasm ) Haha I am very excited and honored to be named one of the Magazines fresh faces on TV to watch in 2015."

According to Elle, Rose will give life to the character named Stella Carlin, who is described as a new inmate whose "sarcastic sense of humor and captivating looks quickly draw the attention of some of Litchfield's inmates." The article also said that Stella will be the new object of affection of both Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) and Alex Vause (Laura Prepon).

This is not the first acting gig of the Australian celebrity. She was earlier featured in the 2013 film "Around the Block" starring Christina Ricci.

Aside from the alleged love triangle, fans will also have to look forward to find how the inmates deal with Vee's (Lorraine Toussaint) death and the impending budget cuts in the Litchfield facility. It means that Toussaint will still be around this season to portray one of "OITNB's" most hated characters in flashback sequences.

"Orange Is The New Black" season 3 is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime in June or July.
