OnePlus X price, specs news: OnePlus X appears briefly on Oppomart

The OnePlus X is expected to come out in about two weeks time and while many are still wondering what the upcoming device will have to offer, much of that may have been accidentally leaked on the online store Oppomart.

Based on the captured image of the posting (now no longer up at Oppomart), OnePlus X features include a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution) full HD display, a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a 13-megapixel main camera, and a front-facing 8-megapixel shooter.

Aside from the specs, the price was also revealed. The Oppo X (per the listing) would retail for about $249, which is fairly close to the rumors coming from China after the necessary conversions.

Either way, the device seems to be a midrange one, something for people who are planning an upgrade but with limited cash.

Of course, the fact that it was taken down does make the listing controversial and possibly hinting that it may be a fluke or something made out of speculation. Then again and knowing that retailers are usually notified of the upcoming devices in advance, it could be authentic as well.

Either way, the best bet is still to wait for its official unveiling set for Oct. 29.

OnePlus did post that curious photo via Twitter last Oct. 13, an uncanny picture that shows a lit up X. One thing that many are wondering about right now is whether or not the OnePlus X is different from another rumored device — the OnePlus Mini.

Are these devices different or one and the same?

As mentioned earlier, it would be best to wait for Oct. 29 to have such questions answered. Moreover, keep an open mind that since this is another OnePlus product, it could be another one of those hard to get or by invite only schemes. Remember the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2?
