The first season of the highly popular manga-turned-anime television series "One Punch Man" has always portrayed the series' main protagonist — Saitama — as an indestructible superhero who no one can dream of defeating. However, new reports are suggesting that the bald superhero may be facing some new opponents that will be testing his limits and possibly even making him break a sweat this time around.

With the success of the show's first season, the likelihood of the show's second season becoming a reality was all but certain. Now that the second season has been confirmed, "One Punch Man" fans are, of course, looking forward to seeing the new challenges that Saitama and his apprentice Genos will be facing.

According to certain reports, there is a big possibility that Lord Boros will be making a comeback in the new episodes. After being obliterated by Saitama in the first season's finale episode, Lord Boros will reportedly be coming back in an even more powerful form.

Apart from Lord Boros, reports have also claimed that a mysterious new Ninja clan will be out to get Saitama. While the rumors have yet to be confirmed, it would be interesting to see the superhero face various new enemies. Viewers will have to wait until season 2 to see if he will be able to defeat them all with just one punch.

Several reports have also claimed that other enemies that will be after Saitama would include the A-Class hero of the Hero Association, Amai Mask, and the beastly Garou.

A number of episodes in the new season will also reportedly be delving more into Saitama's past, which might finally reveal how he had gotten his powers and how he had become so immensely powerful in the first place.

As of the moment, details regarding when "One Punch Man" season 2 will be released continues to be non-existent, but reports are predicting that the new episodes should be coming out sometime in early 2017.
