'One Piece" chapter 807 plot spoilers: Sanji's supposed death is a trap

Rumors on Sanji's death continue to excite "One Piece" fans. onepieceofficial.com

Fans of the Japanese Manga series "One Piece" will be happy to note that the previous speculations about Sanji's death may not be true after all. Movie News Guide reports that new spoilers about chapter 807 suggest that instead of dying, the Straw Hat Pirates cook is just being kept on the elephant Zou Island by the Mink Men.

Rumors that writer and illustrator Eiichiro Oda may have cut off Black Leg from the story surfaced after some eagle-eyed "One Piece" die-hards questioned why Nami was crying in chapter 806 titled "At the Fortress of Right Belly." They thought that Cat Burglar's tears were due to her friend and co-pirate's demise on the hands of the humanoids.

Recent discussions on what really transpired in the last chapter showed, however, that many believed that the Mink Men faked Sanji's passing, as they have bigger plans for him. It was said that they want to trade him to Jack, a pirate captain who has connections to the Underworld. A recent spoiler at Manga Helpers, a site for aficionados, posits that Jack badly wants the Straw Hats, most especially Monkey D. Luffy.

Apparently, the humanoids will exchange Sanji for a Mink Man Jack has kidnapped previously. The pirate tortured one of their members and threatened to kill him if they did not hand over the main protagonists of the manga. The source argues that if the Mink Men killed Sanji, then the trade is off. Hence, faking his death makes sense.

They used a different corpse to show Sanji's friends that they indeed murdered him so that they would go after them. The pursuit would bring the Straw Hat pirates closer to Jack, which was the plan all along. The spoiler also posits that Luffy and his gang would win over Jack and save Sanji and the Mink Man. This reportedly explains why the humanoids would call them saviors.

All these are just predictions on what will happen in chapter 807. What fans can do at the moment is to wait for the piece to be released soon.
