Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Zelena (Rebecca Mader) will be at each other's throat in the premiere episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 5.

Hollywood Life reports that fans of the ABC series will be greeted by a fierce battle between the two characters when it returns in September. In a recent promo released by the network, Hook can be seen confronting the Wicked Witch of the West in her padded prison cell. Zelena is obviously pissed with the captain, as she keeps on throwing green flashes of energy at him.

Elsewhere, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is also engaged in a battle of her own. In the forest, she will encounter Merida (Amy Manson), who will unhesitatingly point an arrow at her heart. The new Dark One also has her hands full dealing with King Arthur (Liam Garrigan) and his Knights, as well as her own mother who is trying to control the outpouring of darkness within her.

Viewers will also see the rest of the Storybrooke characters as they enter the world of Camelot. Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), Belle (Emilie de Ravin), and the whole gang will also be in the land of King Arthur with Emma. How they got there is still a mystery, but the website posits it has something to do with an earthquake at Granny's (Beverley Elliott).

Meanwhile, TV Line reveals that another Storybrooke maiden is set to return for season 5. Ruby, the series counterpart of Red Riding Hood, debuted during the first episode of season 1. According to the website, Meghan Ory is set to reprise her role as the hooded girl for multiple episodes.

The character was last seen in the season 3 finale during the Charmings' baby naming in Granny's house. Co-creator Eddy Kitsis recently hinted her return for the upcoming installment.

"I hope there's a full moon this year. You never know who might come out...."

"Once Upon a Time" will return on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
