The Queen of Camelot will be an active character in the second half of season 5 of the long-running ABC series "Once Upon a Time."

Fashion & Style had an exclusive interview with Joana Metrass, the actress who plays flighty Guinevere, wife of King Arthur (Liam Garrigan) and Queen of the poetic land of Camelot. According to her, viewers would get to see her character more often in season 5B, where her love affair with the dashing knight Lancelot (Sinqua Walls) will set the screen on fire. When asked what is expected of Guinevere when the show returns in March, Metrass said a rather baffling statement to keep the fans guessing until the end.

"You can expect that she will always remain loyal. The question is to whom: is it more important to be loyal to her husband, to the king, to the kingdom or to herself?" she teased.

Based on her answer, the storyline on Guinevere could go many ways. It will be best to stay tuned to the upcoming episodes of "Once Upon a Time" to know where her loyalty lies within the series. Will she stick to her king and forget the man who regrettably stole her heart? Or will she be her own woman and say to hell with all sons of Adam? Meanwhile, co-creator Adam Horowitz told TV Line that the trip to the Underworld that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the rest of the Storybrooke characters will be taking in the premiere episode will be just the beginning of a long journey.

Emma will go to Hell to save her one true love, Hook (Colin O'Donoghue). He sacrificed himself to purge the town of all the Dark Ones. But he was duped by Rumpel (Robert Carlyle), so his martyrdom was for naught. Emma will attempt to retrieve Hook's soul, hopeful that he will live again. Unfortunately for Hook's saviors, entering the Underworld is the least of their problems.

"That impetus is the tip of the iceberg. That's just our entry way to another world and a wealth of stories that impact all our characters," Horowitz said.

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 returns on Sunday, March 6, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
