Gamers all over the world are eager to hear more about the recently unveiled Nintendo Switch hybrid console. After all, a lot of speculations have been going on ever since the device was first revealed, but now the latest reports are revealing the console's plethora of gaming accessories and more.

According to Game N Guide, Nintendo Switch is seen as one of the consoles that will revolutionize modern gameplay given that it features the hybrid design of a home console combined with a portable gaming device. The report states that the latest teaser revealed some of the Switch's capabilities, which also serves as a means of stirring up more hype for the Nintendo Switch.

It did not answer some of the burning questions the community posed, however, and as such a lot of players are curious about its potential touchscreen feature.

Meanwhile, Eurogamer revealed that the new console from Nintendo will feature a capacitive multi-touch screen. The Nintendo Switch console will be around 6.2 inches and will have a 720p resolution, and it is the first among Nintendo's gaming devices to use this feature. The functionalities of the touchscreen is similar to that of the smartphones today, as players can use multi-finger strokes or gestures on the Nintendo Switch's 10-point multi-touch monitor.

Aside from that, the upcoming Nintendo Switch will also have an IR sensor for both its dock and the right-hand JoyCon controller. This short range IR sensor can be used to mimic some of the movements for the touchscreen, as well as functions for the right-hand JoyCon controller when the Nintendo Switch is used as a home console.

Regardless, more details will be revealed for the console at the Nintendo Switch event that will be held on January 13, 2017.

However, the device is expected to be launched earlier on March 2017.
