As the defending Super Bowl champions New England Patriots and the Arizona Cardinals accomplish their Divisional Playoffs assignments and advance to their respective Conference Championship games, four more teams are looking to have the same fate today.

The Cardinals defeated the Green Bay Packers at home Saturday (26–20) to advance to the National Football Conference (NFC) championship game.

Now, Arizona will be waiting on whom it will face between the Seattle Seahawks and the Carolina Panthers.

The Seahawks are the defending NFC champions for two consecutive seasons and are aiming to enter their third straight conference championship game to defend the title.

But they must top the Panthers who ended the 2015 National Football League (NFL) regular season with the best record at 15–1.

Along with having the best record heading to the playoff game today, the Panthers have also defeated the Seahawks during the regular season meeting between both teams in Week 6 (27–23).

Seattle had control during that regular season game but a fourth quarter meltdown helped the Panthers steal the victory.

Now, the Divisional Playoffs matchup between the Seahawks and Panthers airs on FOX today, Sunday.

Meanwhile in the American Football Conference (AFC), the defending conference champions Patriots are also waiting on whom they will defend their title against after topping the Kansas City Chiefs Saturday (27–20).

Two teams aiming to have the opportunity against the Pats are the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Broncos are heading to the Divisional Playoffs as the top team in the AFC, hoping to avenge the regular season loss they suffered against the Steelers.

Pittsburgh is already holding a win over the Broncos who it defeated in Week 16 when they did not have franchise quarterback Peyton Manning.

But Manning is back and is confirmed to be starting in the game that is set to be aired on CBS at 4:40 p.m. EST.
