Nexus 5 2015 specs rumors: Will the new Nexus device come with Android Pay?

By October or November, a new Nexus 5 could be out in the open if rumors are head on. This is, of course, with reference to the belief that Google is all set to unveil its successor to the disappointing Motorola Nexus 6 that was launched last year.

The Nexus 6 drew a lot of flak for its size and price; and now Google has reportedly commissioned LG (and Huawei?) to come up with a new handset once the current device hits its one-year lifecycle. It is believed that the upcoming device will come armed with the new Android M operating system (OS).

All these have not been confirmed by Google for now, although it is believed that everything is imminent.

There are also speculations that the upcoming Nexus model could include Android Pay. Business Korea bares that Google is currently in talks with LG to launch Android Pay, something that will come four years after the Google Wallet came out.

Google has yet to confirm if this is indeed authentic, although it would be interesting to see if Android Pay could come in handy. At the moment, Apple and Samsung are putting the simple payment service to good use so the possible entry of Android Pay could broaden that niche and come in useful for potential Nexus 5 2015 owners.

There are two devices expected to be out, although it remains to be seen if Google is also collaborating with Huawei for the other alleged version of the Nexus 5 2015.

LG is reportedly tasked to come out with a 5-inch model, while Huawei is allegedly unveiling a 5.7-inch variant of the Nexus 5 2015.

Even though Android Pay does seem to be entering the mix at a fairly late time, such could help Google to expand its market share in the mobile OS market.
