'NCIS' season 13 spoilers: McGee to get his own big story in 'Spinning Wheel?'

Will McGee be the next to have an episode dedicated to him in "NCIS?" Facebook/CBS

After seeing almost all of his colleagues get some screen time of their own, it will be the turn of Tim McGee (Sean Murray) to get a share of the spotlight in "NCIS" season 13.

The agent's role for the long-running CBS series has so far been scarce, as more likely than not, he only served as a support group for his friends. As the International Business Times reports, he was there to rescue Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) when she got trapped in a building full of hijackers and was a good listener to all of Ellie Bishop's (Emily Wickersham) marital woes. When Tony DiNozzo's (Michael Weatherly) came face-to-face with his former girlfriend after a long time, McGee was also there to give his friend a boost when it was needed. Now that the others have had their storylines, will it be McGee's turn to have one?

Not right away, it seems, as in the upcoming episode, it will be Ducky Mallard's (David McCallum) who will have a whole story dedicated to him. In "Spinning Wheel," CarterMatt reports that the resident medical examiner will be assaulted by a person who claims he has connection with his half-brother. Ducky's sibling died many years ago, and until now, he is still haunted by what happened when he was murdered. The episode will reportedly be an emotional one, as Ducky reminisces about the bygone days. Adam Campbell will be playing as his younger self.

Meanwhile, the episode will also continue Bishop's lonely journey as she comes to terms with her husband's betrayal. When Jake Malloy (Jamie Bamber) admitted that he was having an affair, Bishop decided to go home to Oklahoma for a much-needed break. As she goes back to work, Bishop will reportedly be strong enough to face her husband and talk about their marriage. Jake burned the phone lines trying to call his wife while she was at her home town. It was obvious he was sorry about his infidelity. Will his apology be enough to heal her wounds?

"NCIS" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
