"NCIS" season 13 will have Japanese-American actress Ally Maki on the team. After saying that lead star Mark Harmon is "dreamy," she confirmed her inclusion in the new season via Instagram, where she said that her character lets her get behind the wheels of a "fancy car."

There are no available details as to what role the "Step Up 3D" star will play and she isn't too keen on spoiling it. But she did say that it will be someone that she wished "[wore] a cool woman's pant suit or [solved] crimes in the basement." Hopefully, more details on this will trickle in soon.

Maki has starred in various TV series, including "10 Things I Hate About You," "Hot in Cleveland," "Shake It Up," "The Big Bang Theory," "Bones," and "Franklin & Bash." She will soon also grace "New Girl" with her presence. Maki will join "NCIS" season 13 with Jon Cryer, who will play Dr. Taft, the surgeon with the means to save Agent Gibbs' life.

Speaking of Gibbs, whatever his fate may be in the upcoming season and whatever the effects (if he survives) his near-death experience will have on him will, in turn, have negative impact on the people around him.

"We're going to see some changes in Gibbs that are going to throw people a bit," showrunner Gary Glasberg told TV Line. "Harmon is doing some fantastic work right now in just subtle nuances. So, physically, you're going to see changes. Emotionally, you're going to see changes. At the end of the day, things that you wouldn't normally associate with Leroy Jethro Gibbs are going to happen."

"NCIS" season 13 will pick up from when the previous season left off – Gibbs holding on to dear life after being shot during a mission in the Atlantic. It will premiere on Sept. 22 with an episode titled "Stop the Bleeding."
