A party pooper will shoot down Special Agent Dwayne Pride's (Scott Bakula) Mardi Gras celebration in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "NCIS: New Orleans."

In "Father's Day," TV.com reports that the night started well for Pride, as he opens his bar to the public. Halfway through the party, an unknown man suddenly appears to spoil it. This is no ordinary wet blanket, though, as he comes with a purpose in mind. He wants Pride and nothing and nobody can stop him from kidnapping the agent. Pride does not see it coming, as the next thing he knows, he is already at the mercy of the assailant. What does he want from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) agent?

Meanwhile, a similar occurrence takes place at a separate party hosted by Mayor Douglas Hamilton (Steven Weber). After welcoming the guests to his Fat Tuesday soiree, the politician also disappears. The same assailant who abducts Pride also targets him. The two men cannot fathom what the kidnapper wants, until he declares that it is a hostage crisis.

The promo photos for the episode shows almost all of the NCIS NOLA in the Mardi Gras party. Christopher LaSalle (Lucas Black) and Sonja Percy (Shalita Grant) are enjoying themselves, as with Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder), who is looking regal in a plum colored suit. Meanwhile, an image of Meredith Brody (Zoe McLellan) and Patton Plame (Daryl Mitchell) shows that they are trying to locate where their leader is using the security footage. Will they be able to save him and Mayor Hamilton?

It is not very often that Pride finds himself the victim, instead of the rescuer in a case. He will have to rely on his NCIS team to get him out of this tricky situation. Pride will have to trust that they will do anything to save him and apprehend his abductor. Perhaps, he will still have some time left to enjoy the party after.

"NCIS: New Orleans" season 2 episode 14 will air on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
