A teenager who goes missing is suspected of having ties with a terrorist organization in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "NCIS: Los Angeles."

In "Defectors," Spoilers Guide reports that the team will be tapped to investigate a young girl's disappearance. Her parents fear that she has been recruited by an extremist group. To save her, the Los Angeles squad must race against time and find out where she is. There is no telling what the bad guys will do to the kid. For that matter, they are also scared what the terrorists will make her do for them. Will they get to her before it is too late?

Last episode, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) went undercover to prevent what could have been a major catastrophe for the government. A former Department of Defense (DOD) employee was brainwashed by a cult to reveal classified information, which they were planning to sell to the highest bidder. The two operatives were sent to pose as cult members, so they could flush out the source and apprehend the culprits.

David Ramsey (Chris Dougherty) was living the life with a great family and his work as a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) engineer. But when his brother died, he sought solace from the Church of the Unlocked Mind. According to his wife, the church tried to separate her and David and it came to appoint where she had to run away to get help. Her husband was still trapped there and she feared he was getting brainwashed.

The DOD was concerned that David would divulge what he had been working on before he got depressed. Apparently, he was part of the team who was working on a new .50 caliber guided bullet for the department. The church had a rule that all members must exercise complete honesty, which included telling all their secrets. One of the members heard of David's story and realized that he could use it to earn money.

The spy was planning to sell the information to the Chinese. Luckily, with Kensi and Deeks' help, they were able to get David out alive. The team also apprehended the culprit before he could make a deal with China.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.

Seismic elections in the UK – the good, the bad and the ugly

I would suggest that, leaving out the hyperbole, these are the most significant elections since Maggie Thatcher was elected – or perhaps the Brexit referendum. What can Christians make of it all?
