A tech entrepreneur is found murdered and the team must find out why in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 7.

In "Angels and Daemons," Spoilers Guide reports that the victim was actually working as a venture capitalist who provided capital to small companies that do not have access to public funding. Further investigation reveals that he had developed a daemon. According to Wikipedia, the term means "a computer program that runs as a background process." This will make untraceable collection of data possible, as a daemon operates without "the direct control of an interactive user."

If the entrepreneur was murdered due to his technology, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is looking for a criminal who has evil plans to hack companies, steal their patents, or even drain their entire fund. Finding the culprit will be a tough job, as he can attack any target remotely from anywhere, as long as he has the program. Will the squad be able to apprehend him before it is too late?

Last episode was pandemonium for the agents of the NCIS, as they prevented a catastrophe from happening. When a gunnery sergeant fell ill after working at a nuclear power plant, they learned that the owners had been remiss of their duty to keep the workers. Hetty (Linda Hunt) sent Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) to go undercover and find out what was happening inside the plant.

The two discovered that the gunnery sergeant was exposed to radiation when the radioactive fuel rods dropped to a dangerous level. An employee purposely sabotaged his bosses to make them realize how unsafe the plant had become. The NCIS thought that the case was closed, until an explosion occurred. They found two bombs strategically placed to compromise the plant's cooling. If they detonate, a nuclear meltdown would be inevitable. Fortunately, the team was there to save the day.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 7 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
